Its not too difficult to manage without cpanel; the hardest part for me was getting LAMP configured correctly and getting the mail server working, and cpanel wouldn&#039;t help with that anyway. I found one of the big advantages of a vps/server was it gave me an appreciation for the underlying stuff which made my scripts run.
However I opted for a shared dedicated server with a group of friends in the end. It meant less overall control (new programs/updates were installed after being agreed upon) but slightly better performance than a vps.</description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Good post <img
